Chapter four
In chapter four Rosemary was enchanted by Dick Diver.According to her he was perfect,and she took a moment to admire him.Nikole Diver saw her admire him and heard Rosemary sigh at the fact that he was taken.Rosemary was very confussed and she told her mother that she loved Dick, but that she also liked his wife, and it was hopeless.When her mother said that she would like to meet him,Rosemary answered that they had invited them to dinner on Friday.
Chapter three
Eventually Rosemary informed her mother that she had fallen in love at the beach.She confessed that the man was very handsome with reddish hair but married.Rosemary's mather was her best friend and she had put every effort in guiding her .Then they decided to stay in Gausse's hotel for longer period.On the next day Rosemary's shoulders were too burned to swim, so she and her motherhired a car and srove along the Reviere.
Chapter two
The second chapter is mainly revealing the characters of Rosemary's new companions, and their conversations.In this part of the book is firstly mantioned the name of one of the main characters,Mr Diver.Rosemary was very attracted by this man and was getting more and more curious to reveal his personality.
First chapter
On June in 1925 a woman and her daughter arrived,and were brought down to Gause's hotel, rose-colored hotel with palm treesin front of it. Many fashionable people spend their summers there.
The mother did not think that theywould like the place, and the daughter,Rosemary,wanted to go home,too, and so they decidedthat they would onlystay for three days.
As Rosemary stepped out to the beach, she took offher bathrobe and walked out into the sea until the water was brest-high, and then glanced back to the shore and saw a bald man regarding her attentively.When Rosemary returned on the shore he introduced himself to her as Campion. On the beach she met also Mrs. Abrams, Mrs.McKisko, Mr. McKisko, and MrDumphry who had recognized her as Rosemary Hoyt and they told her that she was a marvelous actress.
